\u2026 is a rotary table press with molds that are not sanded, but watered instead.
Several molds are embedded in a rotary table\/mold table, which are filled with the soft-pressed clay by a vertical clay cutter.<\/p>\n

Once the clay reaches an ejector stamp, the shaped piece is ejected and falls onto a conveyor belt.<\/p>\n

The shaped pieces from this press display a typical “streaky design” and are referred to as water-struck bricks or water-struck clinkers.<\/p>\n

The still very moist shaped piece lands on a conveyor belt. Here, the piece is set up by a rotating system and finally placed onto wooden slats. The wooden slats with the shaped pieces are then brought into the drying process.<\/p>\n

Further processing takes place with the firing in the ring kiln.<\/p>\n

With the commissioning of the water-struck press in 2014, we are virtually the only manufacturer to combine the special water-struck surface with the uniqueness of the ring kiln firing. The results speak for themselves.<\/p>\n
